Football in New Orleans is more than just a game: it’s a lifestyle. This year was particularly exhilarating because the beloved New Orleans Saints, led by Drew Brees, made it to the NFL Playoffs! The first playoff game for the Saints was at home in the Superdome versus the Carolina Panthers. We knew we’d have to do something special for this epic homecoming game.RoundTower, along with our sponsors Dell EMC & Turbonomic, arranged an all-inclusive private suite for our guests to enjoy the game. The morning of the game we met up with 48 of our top customers. The energy in the air was electric!
The suite was at full capacity, our group was energetic and ready to cheer on the Saints. At kickoff, the atmosphere inside the dome was unbeatable. In typical Saints tradition the whole dome went crazy when Drew Brees started the who dat chant...
“Who dat? Who dat? Who dat say dey gonna beat dem Saints?"
With that, it was game time!
During the game our guests enjoyed an assortment of creole food favorites along with a large assortment of beverages. Around halftime we had a surprise visit from the Roaming Saints Band. The band did a private performance for our suite, there’s nothing comparable to live music in New Orleans.
The Saints had quite a good lead throughout the game. A late rally by Carolina had everyone on the edge of their seats.
The Saints had to prevent Carolina from scoring and winning the game in the final plays. The Dome erupted as the Saints sacked Cam Newton on a 4th down to stop the late rally and end the game. What a game! While now we know that the Saints didn’t win their second playoff game, there is always next year, right? WHO DAT!
We would like to thank our guests who joined us for this wonderful day of football and our corporate sponsors, Dell EMC and Turbonomic, for making this event happen!
