RoundTower Technologies had been a proud corporate partner of the Miami Children’s Health System for the past two years. The Nicklaus Children’s Hospital (formerly Miami Children’s Hospital) is a very compassionate organization. Their mission statement, “To inspire hope and promote lifelong health by providing the best care to every child,” has inspired our RoundTower team to join forces with them and help spread the message. On November 30th, RoundTower Technologies gave Miami Children’s Health System a check for $30,000, which was received by their Interim Executive Director of Development & Major Gifts, Michael Mowatt. The donation will be used to fund IT innovations aimed at helping shape the future of healthcare by meeting the evolving needs of patients and providers.
Nicklaus Children’s Hospital is newly rebranded with eight outpatient centers located throughout the Miami area. The health system includes Miami Children’s Health Foundation, the organization’s fundraising arm; Pediatric Specialists of America Inc., a nonprofit physician practice subsidiary; a management services organization, an ambulatory surgery center, and a line of children’s wellness products.
The local RoundTower team has participated in the Miami Children’s Health Foundation 5k, one of the largest annual community events for the organization. The 5k race, now in its 6th year, has raised nearly $2.5 million dollars overall for the children and families who depend on Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. RoundTower Technologies has also supported this life-giving organization at the Annual Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Corporate Golf Invitational. The golf event raised nearly $200,000 last year to be used for the children and families of the Nicklaus Children’s Hospital.
We at RoundTower Technologies are very grateful for the opportunity to be a small part of fulfilling the Miami Children’s Health System mission statement. We can think of no more important goal than to inspire hope and promote lifelong health by providing the best care to every child.
